Privacy Policy

Last updated October 9, 2026

This policy tells you what personal information GXB collects when you use GXB Tickets at tickets.gxb.vc, why we collect it, who receives it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

GXB, LLC ("GXB", "we", "us") is a Delaware limited liability company based in Dallas, Texas. We build software for our clients. GXB Tickets is where our clients report bugs, ask for features, and ask questions about the software we build for them.

What we collect

When you sign in

  • You sign in with your GXB account at auth.gxb.vc. We receive your email address, your name and an account ID. We do not receive your password.
  • For each sign-in, we store the IP address and the browser you used, so we can keep your account secure.
  • GXB gives an email address or an email domain access to a board. We store that address or domain, its role, who gave the access, and when.

What you create

  • The tickets you file: the title, the text, the type (bug, feature or question), and the status.
  • Your comments, the tickets you star, and the tickets assigned to you.
  • Where a ticket came from: the web page you were on (its address and title) when you filed it from a GXB chat window, and the chat that filed it.
  • If you file a ticket from Slack through GXBot: the Slack workspace, channel and message IDs, and your Slack user ID.

Files

  • Files and images you attach to a ticket or a comment. We store them in a private storage bucket. Only signed-in people who can see that board can open them.

Technical data

  • When you open a page, our server records your IP address, your browser type, the page you opened, the page you came from, the time, and your account ID if you are signed in.

Cookies

  • We use one cookie that keeps you signed in, and the standard Rails session cookie that protects forms and remembers the page to return to after sign-in. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

  • To sign you in and keep your account secure.
  • To show you only the boards you have access to.
  • To track and fix the bugs and requests you report.
  • To send you an email when someone else comments on or closes your ticket.
  • To tell GXB staff about a new ticket, and to post a status update in the Slack thread a ticket came from.
  • To find and fix errors, and to see which pages people use.
  • To meet our legal duties.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising.

People who have access to the same board see your name, your email address, your tickets, your comments and your files. GXB staff can see every board.

We use these service providers. They process data only to provide their service to us.

  • DigitalOcean hosts the app, the database backups and the files.
  • Mailgun sends the ticket emails.
  • Slack receives the status update when a ticket came from a Slack thread. GXB Chat (chat.gxb.vc), our own app, posts it for us.
  • Apple delivers the push notification about a new ticket to GXB staff phones. It contains the ticket title and your email address.
  • Analytics: analytics.gxb.vc is our own system on our own servers. We do not use ad pixels, session replay, or outside analytics companies.
  • Code libraries: pages load some JavaScript files from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) and JSPM (ga.jspm.io). These hosts receive your IP address when they send the file.

GXB Tickets itself does not send your tickets to AI services. Our own apps GXB Chat and GXBot can file and read tickets for you when you ask them to. Those apps use AI model providers, and they explain this where you use them.

We can also share information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of GXB and the people who use the app. If GXB merges with or is sold to another company, the information can move to that company, and this policy continues to apply to it.

How long we keep it

  • Your account, tickets and comments: while we work on the project for which the board exists. Ask us and we will delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them.
  • Files: our storage is shared with GXB Chat, so a file stays in storage after its ticket or comment is deleted. Ask us and we will remove it by hand.
  • Sign-in records (IP address and browser): until you sign out on that device.
  • Analytics page-view records: 35 days. Error records: 90 days.
  • Backups: copies of deleted data can stay in backups for a short time before the backups are replaced.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), sign-in through one central account system, access rules that limit each person to their own boards, private file storage with links that expire, and continuous database backups. No system is fully secure. If you find a security problem, email christian@gxb.vc.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we have about you, and send you a copy;
  • correct information that is wrong;
  • delete your information.

Send your request to christian@gxb.vc from the email address you use in the app. We reply within 45 days. We may need to confirm who you are before we act. We do not treat you differently because you made a request.

California and Texas residents have these rights under state law. You can also name an agent to make a request for you. If we refuse a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer. We will reply to the appeal within 60 days.

Children

GXB Tickets is a work tool for our clients. It is not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child gave us information, email christian@gxb.vc and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If the change is large, we will also tell signed-in users in the app or by email.
